Nichole Maury is a professor in the printmedia area and curator of the University print collection at Western Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art. Her work explores the parallel relationship that exists within printmaking, drawing, and other process-based modes of working.

Her classroom curriculum emphasizes experimentation, collaboration and non-traditional print practices as a means of building on a solid foundation of traditional printmaking materials and techniques.

Maury has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally including the International Print Center New York; the Scuola di Grafica, Venice, Italy; the Chicago Cultural Center and The Urban Institute of Art, Grand Rapids, Michigan; as well as several other international venues, including India, Argentina and Ireland. Her work can be found in the collections of the New Orleans Museum of Art, Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper, Iowa City Public Library, Bradley University and Minot State University in addition to many private collections.
