Zachary Page-Wood is an Instructor of Foundation Art at Western Michigan University's Gwen Frostic School of Art. Zachary joined the Frostic School of Art in 2021.
Zachary Page-Wood has shared his passion for the visual arts with students for over a decade. A graduate of Western Michigan University, he decided to take his knowledge and skills in visual art into teaching and at Grand Valley State University earned a Master’s Degree in Education. He has taught students from all backgrounds and ability levels and is experienced teaching to multiple ages, from children to adults. His specialties include drawing, painting, and digital media.
While a lifelong Kalamazoo resident, Zachary has traveled extensively, having visited each state in the contiguous continental United States as well as travels abroad to Europe. Among his favorite destinations have been some of the world’s great art and history museums.
Since 2002 (barring an interruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic) he has hosted the radio program Audio Bijou for 89.1 FM WIDR, a weekly show about film and film music. An avid film fan, Zachary has seen well over four thousand movies.
