Contact registers with a generic or other non-employer email address
If a contact requests access to an employer with a generic email address or an email address that doesn't match the name or URL of the employer, send them this message either through Handshake or Email:
"Hello, please re-register with a company email address in order to be approved. Your initial registration request will be declined. Thank you! [Your Name]"
There are some instances in which a will have a consultant working for them that uses a different email. For example, the PepsiCo recruiters use the email pepsico at nc3 dot com. When they emailed us telling us that was the case, we did some research to confirm it, and then we approved them to use that email and be housed under PepsiCo. If you have any questions in cases like this, please contact a member of the systems team in either the Career Center or Career and Student Employment Services.
