Birds On A Wire

Birds on a Wire, Western Michigan University's new-music ensemble, is dedicated to the performance of contemporary works from the early 20th century to today. Founded in 2009, the ensemble is directed by Dr. David Colson and is comprised entirely of student performers. With a strong focus on newly composed works, Birds on a Wire collaborates regularly with guest composers and contemporary instrumentalists.
