In an effort to save time, resources and enhance sustainability, Western Michigan University currently utilizes electronic billing for student monthly statements. Beginning Summer II 2018, Western Michigan University went paperless and began utilizing electronic billing for all semester invoices. As we strive to increase our sustainability, it is also our hope this will eliminate mail delays and provide students earlier account notification to support more planning time.
Monthly statements
Monthly statements are only available electronically through the student’s payment and account information. Statements are generated on or after the 15th of every month. Monthly statements provide detail for new charges in addition to showing the unpaid prior balances. Students and authorized users receive an email and text when a new monthly statement is available for viewing. Students with a $0.00 balance and no current activity will not receive a monthly statement.
Students can view their monthly statement and account balance by logging in through goWMU with their Bronco NetID and password, and then selecting the Payment and Account Information app. Authorized users may view statements and make payment by logging into the authorized user website with their email address and password.
Semester Tuition and Fee invoices
Semester tuition and fee invoices are generated four to five weeks prior to the beginning of the semester. The semester invoice includes tuition, fees, room and board, pending financial aid, class schedule for the semester and the tuition due date.
Invoices are not mailed to students or authorized users. Students and authorized users will receive an email/text notification when the invoices are ready for viewing. Student emails are sent to their wmich.edu email address.

Students and authorized users will receive notification via email/text when a statement is available to view. The monthly statement will not include your class schedule.
