AI in the Economics Classroom

Join the Department of Economics on Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in 2028 Brown Hall for a one-day conference examining what AI is doing to teaching, assessment and hiring, and the cross-institutional conversations needed to keep pace. The program sits at the intersection of how we teach with AI, how we assess what students have learned, what the labor market is asking of graduates and the peer networks that make any of this tractable across institutions.

The event will feature four keynote speakers addressing the research, teaching and labor-market sides of the AI question.
