CMS workshop series

CAS Marketing announces a bimonthly Web CMS summer workshop series.

This is a small group workshop of 6 to10 users that will offer an opportunity to participate in a “question, and how-to” setting with CAS marketing staff to support you. Open to all users from beginner to intermediate.  While the session will have an overall topic, ALL questions and issues brought into the session by participants will be given attention and time on an individual basis as well.

All sessions will be in Dunbar Hall, seminar room 2503.

The first workshop will be on Wednesday, May 27, 9:30 to 11:00 am. For your convenience, sessions will be from 9:30 to 11:00 am or 1:30 to 3:00 pm.

You must have WMU CMS access to attend and be sure to bring your laptop with you (be sure to have your laptop charged or bring a charger with you).
If you do not yet have WMU CMS access, you can request that here. Use the link under the “I need CMS access or support” heading and fill out the web form.

The first 2 sessions overall topic will be beginner basics and program pages/project discover, basic set up and overview.

Individual session seats will be granted to the first 10 participants – first come, first served basis. All sign-ups are for individual sessions, one at a time.  You are not committed to the entire series.

For the courtesy of your fellow attendees, any questions or issues brought into the session that are beyond the capabilities or time limit of the CAS marketing staff will be addressed but may have to be at a separate appointment due to time constraints.
