Global Go-getter

Manager of Business Development Enablement, Thomson Reuters

Flashback to the classrooms of Schneider Hall in 2018: Kasia Mietusiewicz may not have known where her sales role-plays and strategic business plans would take her, but she knew her future would be bright and fulfilling.

Today, Mietusiewicz spends her days working with a team of global business development representatives, helping them enhance their sales skills and cultural understanding. She assists by developing coaching, content and processes to help team members see success early in their roles, which helps support Thomson Reuter’s business growth.

She also works closely with the company’s partnerships and alliances teams by traveling to large tradeshows and speaking with clients to better relationships and generate stronger leads. This year she has led the charge to increase tradeshow presence considerably from four to 20 per year, training additional representatives to work these events.

Mietusiewicz has a track record of collaborating with talented teams that consistently meet and exceed targets. Notably, she has contributed to the company’s global expansion, particularly in Manila, where she helped lead the onboarding and interviewing process for all new team members.

Starting her journey at Thomson Reuters as a sales intern, her rapid rise has seen her in six positions with increasing responsibility in each. Mietusiewicz earned an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Cleary University after double majoring in sales and business marketing and management at WMU.
