Franchise Operations Coach, The Wendy’s Company

On the menu for Tyler Thorington is building strong franchise relationships, coaching teams to deliver outstanding customer service and driving operational excellence. He’s a franchise operations coach for 150 Wendy’s restaurants across the Midwest, the fast-food chain known for its Frosty desserts and quality service. It’s a role that has given him rare opportunities to do a job well done implementing sustainable growth strategies and improving process efficiencies. 

Prior to Wendy’s, Thorington got a taste for success as a franchise business consultant at Little Caesars—serving up exceptional results in a similar capacity. He earned several prestigious awards at the company, including the 2022 Top Gun Award for leading in sales and customer count nationwide and the 2023 Caesar Spirit Award and Team MVP Award for his leadership skills.

Thorington is a two-time graduate of the Haworth College of Business, earning his B.B.A. in 2020 and his MBA in 2021. He leverages his education on strategic planning and operational insights every day. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys watching many games and maintaining his competitive edge in baseball. His belief in teamwork and commitment to greatness drive it home.

“Robert J. Bobb Stadium as you drive into campus down Stadium Drive. It’s where I played baseball in college and brings back a lot of nostalgia and great memories.”
