Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?

The skill that I have that had the biggest impact on my success was my appreciation for quality work. What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?

Although the path to become an engineer may be considered a difficult one, a short multi-year investment of traditional classroom learning will pay off with many more years of learning and gathering a full understanding about systems and mechanisms needed for production of everyday items.
