Application for Permission to Elect A-S 7350 or A-S 7300

Guidelines for Submission and Registration

For Interdisciplinary Studies Doctorate (ISLD) students only.

  1. To avoid delays in registration and late fees, students should submit this request at least five business days in advance of the latest day to add/drop courses. Consult Registrar’s Office academic calendars.
  2. You must complete this web form in consultation with the faculty mentor who will be supervising the course. Once submitted, this form is automatically routed to the faculty member for confirmation and approval. 
  3. Once processing of the form is complete, you will receive an email notification with course details and instructions on how to register.
  4. You are then responsible for registering for the course and inputting the same number of credit hours that was specified on your form.   
  5. Students enrolling in A-S 7300 must remain continuously enrolled in A-S 7300 until degree completion. 
  6. This continuous enrollment requirement does not apply to A-S 7350.
  7. Any questions regarding enrollment in A-S 7350 or A-S 7300  should be directed to the faculty mentor who will be supervising this class and/or your dissertation chair.

Students are encouraged to submit this request at least five business days in advance of the latest day to add/drop courses to ensure they will not incur fees. Students should consult with their faculty advisor(s) to determine the number of credit hours to register for each course and semester.
