As a formulation researcher, I take a specific test article (drug) provided via a sponsor company and formulate it into different dilutions depending on test groups and specifications.
What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?
Multiple test article studies and multitasking between multiple studies within the day.
If you had a campus job or internship, how did they impact your career development?
Working in research labs at WMU impacted my career development by allowing me insight into what is needed to succeed in the research field, while also preparing me for day to day work life using GLP (Good Lab Practices) standards.
What advice do you have for students looking for their career after college?
Be patient but also pay close attention to minor details. The minor details matter the most in this field.
