If you had a campus job or internship, how did they impact your career development?
I did two summer internships with Coyote Logistics in Chicago. Coyote is an amazing company, and I learned a lot about what working in the business world is like as well as being in a fast-paced environment.
What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
Being in a sorority definitely helped give me with the resources and guidance of what path I wanted to take. Also, the sales program in general really sets you up for success. Dr. Eckert was a big contributor to my success!
Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?
Learning the in and outs of sales and negotiation will definitely help me in the next level.
What experiences impacted the choice of your career path?
My internship and the sales program helped me decide what career path I wanted to go in.
What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?
Take advantage of all the resources WMU has to offer and always sell yourself in the best way possible!
