Financial Advisor at Eagle Strategies, LLC

With my broad financial background, I help clients with four critical areas of financial planning: investment, asset protection, retirement/distribution, and legacy planning. Although each of these areas presents unique challenges and unique opportunities, they are all interrelated and must be addressed from a holistic standpoint, with a view to each client’s individual financial profile. I work with clients to develop a clear understanding of their goals, risk tolerance, and expectations—to get to know them as individuals, not merely assets. I then build a customized financial plan for clients ranging from young families to retired professionals, a plan backed by thorough research and years of experience.

What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my profession is seeing the joy overcome a client as they overcome the stress of planning for retirement.

Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?

Skills that have had the biggest impact are listening to others, respecting others, being able to connect the dots as a client tells their story to then work with them to develop a retirement plan. A passion for investing and solving puzzles certainly comes in handy as well.

What advice do you have for students looking for their career after college?

When deciding on a career, be patient. There's a strong chance that what you're doing now won't be your ultimate calling or passion. Soul search to discover what it is you're truly passionate about and then discover a way to get paid to do that 'thing' you're passionate about.
