What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?

The most challenging part of my job is that as I am connected to a major policy i.e. the monetary policy, I have to be available almost at all times. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to work for my country Pakistan, and I hope I can contribute my part in the best way possible for its success.

Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?

I think learning the 'Machine Learning and Data Analysis using R' was one of the best things that happened to me at WMU. I think one should always stick to the latest technological advancement and learn that; otherwise, he/she will be obsolete within a few years.

What advice would you offer students to help them decide on a career path?

I think it is very important to understand what really interests you. Some people take a field looking at the demand in the market, and others take it expecting that it is their interest, and it will take them somewhere in life. However, I believe, people should look at both the aspects. For example, if I am interested in computer science and big data analysis, and it is the latest thing going on in the field, I should learn it. However, I should have interest in it so that I am able to understand it fully. Furthermore, one should always add more skills than the one in demand as time is changing pretty quickly so we all need to adapt.
