I watch security cameras, walk our floor, and I am in charge of apprehensions of those who steal in our store. I am able to arrest them in the store.
What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?
The most rewarding thing about my job is that I am stopping crime in a safe area. The hardest part is making sure I am always on my toes and paying close attention to everything.
What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
My sorority Alpha Omicron Pi inspired me to do what I want and to follow my dreams. They inspired me to be the best version of myself.
What advice do you have for students looking for their career after college?
Go out and work for what you want. It doesn’t come handed to you but once you achieve it, it will be the most amazing feeling.
