What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
Dr. Jennifer Foster was very influential in demonstrating how a counselor should conduct themselves and she was an extremely supportive and understanding instructor.
What experiences impacted the choice of your career path?
Great Lakes Learning Academy is an online public school which combined the knowledge gained from my internship sites with the skills I was forced to develop while completing my graduate program virtually in response to COVID-19.
What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?
Advocate for yourself and your abilities at every opportunity. You never know when something new and exciting will find you!
