The most rewarding part of my job is giving students a weekly example of communication practice as a culturally competent instructor and alleviating individuals’ communication apprehension. The most challenging part of my job is not taking on every challenge in the classroom.
What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
Acting as President of the Graduate Communication Organization and taking on the role as a graduate teaching assistant in the School of Communication prepared me for my career as a Communication Instructor.
What advice do you have for students looking for their career after college?
Whatever you are willing to do for free will be the career that brings you the most fulfillment and peace.
