I work for the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Michigan. The role is extremely rewarding as I have an opportunity to benefit my community by providing quality care for those who may not otherwise have access; at-risk, underserved, and culturally diverse populations. Although I’m more directly responsible for medical operations, my role also includes general facilities management for the building in support of all service lines.
What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
Although I’m still growing and learning, hands down, my military service and the WMU MBA program were the most critical part of my journey.
