I am excited for a new and bright opportunity as a social worker at Hospice of Southwest Michigan. The most rewarding part of the job will be to make people feel a sense of support and calm in uncertain times.
What experiences impacted the choice of your career path?
Working across the lifespan with my bachelors for 10 years prior to going back for my masters really helped me see where I wanted to be and what I wanted to focus on.
What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?
Work before you pursue graduate school in social work.
