What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?
The most rewarding thing is the amazing coworkers as well the client I currently am working on. The most challenging thing is getting use to how the government reports to their financial statements.
What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?
The amazing professors I came into contact with over my four years at Western with in the accountancy department really had an impact as well being a part of beta alpha psi in the business college. I also had great help from two amazing facility advisors. Also professor Langsom and Professor Saini both had an impact and guided me to stick with my course work and purse a career with a big four firm and helped me when I needed to help with certain topics or just life in general.
What advice do you have for students looking for their career after college?
The number one thing after college when you get done is be patient and charge forward and don’t be afraid to start somewhere small and work your way up. Because it can get stressful but just be patient and calm because you will find a job in your career path; it just takes time.
