My job entails mostly, but not limited to giving lectures and conducting research.

What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?

The faculty at The School of Public Affairs and Administration have always been there for me, and they still are. I still reach out to my professors and they understand that learning is an on going process; it does not stop once you graduate. 

Which of your skills had the biggest impact on your success?

The biggest skill is the ability to have a growth mindset, I did not expect to be teaching online. COVID happened and I just know I have to adapt and that I learned at WMU. 

What advice do you have for others pursuing a career similar to yours?  

My advice is remember that it is a process, you will learn it will take time, but you will get there. Also, always reach out to your professors at WMU for advice.
