Bronco Spotlight: Rachel Anderson

Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary health services, 2019

Medication Technician at New Friends Memory Care and Assisted Living Facility, and Medical Scribe at Bronson Methodists Hospital. 

I am gaining patient care and health care experience while applying to grad schools for a Master’s in physician assistant studies. 

What is the most rewarding and the most challenging part of your job?

Working with people is the most rewarding AND a the most challenging! 

What activities, resources, or people helped you prepare for your career?

My family, my advisors, and my professors (especially in the Spanish department). Also, my volunteer experiences, my internships, and my semester studying abroad. 

What advice do you have for students?

Get involved, study abroad if you can, be friendly to everyone, and just make the most of your time in undergrad.
