Geological and Environmental Sciences
As a student in the geological and environmental sciences, you will explore humanity’s most precious asset, our planet, through diverse and exciting courses on today’s most challenging questions regarding water, energy, climate, natural hazards and space exploration. It is no surprise then, why the geological and environmental are one of the most actively recruiting disciplines with the highest earned income in all of the STEM fields.
The College of Arts and Sciences at Western Michigan University offers several opportunities for you to get a head start on your graduate degree while enrolled as an undergraduate. Through WMU’s Accelerated Graduate Degree Program, students meeting certain criteria can enroll in up to 12 credit hours of designated 5000- and 6000-level courses for graduate credit. These designated courses may be used in completion of both the bachelor’s and master’s degree.
