Celebrating the recent ADA Anniversary with Crip Camp: Film Viewing and Discussion

Posted by Sara Dillon on January 28, 2026

In recognition of the recent 35th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), WMU invites you to a discussion marking the 35th anniversary of the ADA and exploring past, present, and future disabled identity. We will screen Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution, a film about identity, community, and disability rights. With 1 in 4 U.S. adults having a disability, this story reflects a much broader movement. Join us Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, 6–8:30 p.m., in Sangren Hall 1920 or via Webex. A moderated conversation will follow, and the event will be streamed and recorded.
