Student Application for Articulated CTE Credit

After students are admitted to WMU and declare a major in the College of Education and Human Development, they may apply for up to 6 department credits for their high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses that align with our academic programs.

HOW TO APPLY

Applying is a three-step process:

  1. The student contacts their CTE program to fill out the School Verification for Student Application for Articulated CTE Credit form to verify the student's CTE credits. 
  2. The school (instructor/counselor/administrator) fills out the School Verification for Student Application for Articulated CTE Credit form on behalf of the student.
  3. The student applying for CTE credit fills out the Student Application for Articulated CTE Credit form (below).

The WIN is the 9 digit number found on the back of your student ID or your on acceptance letter.
Please include dates completed of each course. Use MM/DD/YYYY format.
Select the WMU College of Education and Human Development major you plan to pursue.
CTE Contact
Information for your CTE contact person (instructor, principal, director or administrator).
I hereby certify that the above information is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. I also acknowledge that it is my responsibility to contact my CTE contact person listed above and ask them to complete the school verification form. I understand that my application for CTE credit will not be reviewed or considered complete until both forms are received by WMU.
