The College of Education and Human Development at Western Michigan University is proud to announce it has been ranked No. 45 in the nation for Best Online Master’s in Education Programs by U.S. News & World Report. This recognition places the college among the top 50 programs in the United States and ranks it No. 2 in the state of Michigan.
In addition to its top 50 national placement, WMU’s online master’s in education programs were also ranked No. 17 nationally for Best Online Master’s in Education Programs for Veterans, further highlighting the college’s commitment to access, quality and student support.
The rankings recognize academic quality, student engagement, faculty credentials, services and technologies, and peer reputation among institutions across the country. They also reflect the real-world impact of the college’s graduates, which has been especially evident this year as College of Education and Human Development alumni earned several of the state’s and profession’s most prestigious honors. Recent alumni recognition includes Teacher of the Year, Superintendent of the Year, Assistant Principal of the Year and the Spirit of Excellence Award for Bilingual Educator of the Year.
