Registration

Summer registration is in progress. Priority registration ended Friday and today all students are eligible to register for Summer I and Summer II courses.

The Fall 2014 schedule will be available for viewing next Monday and registration for fall opens on Monday, March 10.

Study Abroad Course Repeat Policy

Just a reminder that students may repeat a course taught by an overseas institution during WMU sponsored study abroad if they receive prior approval by the department. A Study Abroad Repeat Course Permission Form needs to be submitted to the Registrar’s Office prior to starting the repeated course. The form can be found on the Registrar’s Office website.

April Commencement

Times for the April 26 commencement ceremony have been set. Four ceremonies will be held in Miller auditorium as follows:

9:00 a.m.     College of Education and Human Development Extended University Programs

12:00 p.m.   College of Engineering and Applied Sciences College of Health and Human Services College of Aviation

3:00 p.m.     College of Fine Arts

                    Haworth College of Business

6:00 p.m.      College of Arts and Sciences

The RSVP system will be available for students to reserve their four guest tickets in GoWMU through Wednesday, April 17. Additional information can be found on the commencement website at wmich.edu/commencement.

Upcoming Dates:

• Monday, February 24—Fall 2014 course offerings open for viewing

• Friday, February 28—Spirit day

• Monday, March 3-- Last day for 25% tuition refund for a complete withdraw

• Monday, March 3—Spring break begins

• Monday, March 10 – Midterm grading closes, end of day

• Monday, March 10—Classes resume

• Monday, March 10—Fall 2014 registration begins

• Monday, March 17—Last day to withdraw from Spring courses

• April 21-25—Final Exam week

• Saturday, April 26—Commencement

• Tuesday, April 29--Spring grades due at noon
