Registrar’s Notes – March 10, 2014

Fall 2014 Registration

Fall registration opened this morning. As a reminder, registration is based on credit hours earned. The priority schedule for this week is as follows:

Priority registration goes through Tuesday, March 25 when freshmen with zero credit hours can register starting at noon. The complete schedule can be found on the Registrar’s Office website.

Midterm Grades Due

Today is the deadline for instructors to submit a midterm grade for the Spring 2014 semester. The midterm grade worksheet will be available until 11:59 p.m. tonight.

Report Students Not Attending

March 17 is the last day students can withdraw from a spring semester course, so it is important that we make every effort this week to reach out to students who are not attending class. Please encourage instructors to report students who are registered but not attending. This can be done using the "Report Student Not Attending/Not Registered" link located on the faculty menu in GoWMU. Staff from the Registrar's Office, as well as advising and Residence Life staff, will follow up with students reported as not attending.

Monday, March 10—Classes resume
Monday, March 10—Fall 2014 registration begins

Monday, March 17—Last day to withdraw from Spring courses
April 21-25—Final Exam week
Saturday, April 26—Commencement
Tuesday, April 29--Spring grades due at noon
