Registrar’s Notes – September 29, 2014
Spring 2015 Registration
Course offerings for Spring 2015 opens for viewing today. The schedule of course offerings can be accessed on the public website and on the course offerings page within GoWMU. Registration opens on Monday, Oct. 13.
Upcoming Tuition Invoice Change
Effective fall 2015, the tuition invoices will be prepared one week earlier (approximately five weeks before the start of the semester) and the due date will be one week prior to the start of the fall semester. This change will be for the fall semester only; all other semesters will remain on the same billing/due date schedule.
The change was suggested by the Scannel & Kurz evaluation in late 2012 and will provide students/families with more time to make their financial plans and provide Financial Aid, Bronco Express, Accounts Receivable, and other departments with more time to assist in that process.
Student Photos
If you are seeing an increased number of students on class lists or in Degree Works without a student photo, this is due to the transition to the new Bronco Card. Previous photos were deleted from the system on June 8. Students appearing without a photo have not yet visited the Bronco Card Office in the Bernhard Center and received their new Bronco ID card. As a reminder, new ID cards must be obtained by October 1.
Summer II Grading Closed
Grading for the Summer II session has closed. Students who were not issued a grade by the instructor have been given an incomplete. Instructors can remove the "I" grade using the link on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.
Upcoming Dates:
- Wednesday, October 22—Last day to receive a 25% refund for a complete withdraw
- Sunday, October 26—Midterm grades due
- Monday, November 3—Last day to withdraw
- Wednesday, November 26—Thanksgiving recess starts at noon
- Monday, December 1—Classes resume
- Tuesday, Dec. 16—Final grades due at noon
