Transcripts
Did you know that January is our busiest month for transcript processing? Last January, 2,274 transcripts were requested through Parchment, our online transcript vendor. Over 60% of students requesting transcripts opt to receive an electronic copy as opposed to a paper copy. Average turnaround time for students requesting an electronic transcript is one to two days. Depending on the volume to be processed, electronic transcripts could be delivered within a few hours of being requested.
Reverse transfer
Western Michigan University is starting 2015 with four new reverse transfer partners. Agreements were recently signed with the College of DuPage, Gogebic Community College, Mott County Community College and North Central Michigan University. A total of 28 agreements have been signed by WMU to make it easier for students to combine credits and earn a credential. The agreement with the College of DuPage is the first out of state reverse transfer agreement signed by a Michigan university.
