Fall 2015 academic schedule final review
Fall 2015 final review working reports are now available in Cognos. During this round departments do not have access to Banner to edit sections. All necessary changes should be noted on the working report. Signed copies should be forwarded to the Registrar's Office no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30. Final room scheduling will begin on Monday, Feb. 2. Please contact Laura Thomas or call (269) 387-4308 for assistance.
Summer registration
The summer I and summer II schedules opened this morning for viewing. Summer registration will begin on Monday, Feb. 9 at 8 a.m. The priority registration schedule can be found online.
Spring 2015 registration changes
Students who wish to add a spring 2015 course to their schedule can do so with the approval of the instructor and the department chair. The registration will need to be done in the Registrar's Office and a completed Permission to Late Add form is required.
Today is the last day students can receive a 50% refund for withdrawing from individual classes. After today there is no refund for a partial withdraw. Students withdrawing from all classes are eligible to receive a 50% refund through Monday, Feb. 9. A 24-hour grace period is provided to students who drop a course that meets for the first time on or after the end of the drop and add period. Students dropping a class within 24 hours of the start date should contact the Registrar's Office to make sure they receive the correct refund.
Since we are past the drop and add period students are not able to swap sections of a course. Changing sections will require the student to withdraw from one section and go through the late add process in order to register for another section.
Spring 2015 registration changes
Major and minor changes are no longer permitted for the spring 2015 semester. Any changes requested will need to be made effective for the next term—summer I, 2015. Since registration for summer is not yet open the change will need to be made on SGASTDN. Detailed PDF instructions can be found here.
GPA calculator
The GPA calculator is back on the Registrar's Office Website. A link is provided in the spotlight section located on the right side of the page. Degree Works also provides students and advisors with three different GPA calculators—graduation, term and advice.
One Stop Convenience Center
Thank you to everyone who helped to make the spring 2015 One Stop Convenience Center a success. We were open a total of 31 hours and assisted 523 students—approximately 17 students per hour.
