Fall 2015 registration

Fall registration continues this week with freshmen and sophomores eligible to register. The priority schedule for the week is as follow:

Degree Works tip of the week

When entering notes for a student in Degree Works—after the note is entered and saved—be sure to click the Run New Audit button. Failure to run a new audit will result in the student not being able to see the note at the bottom of the worksheet. A good way to make sure a new audit has been run is by looking at the Last Audit box at the top of the worksheet. If a new audit was run the box will indicate that Today was the last audit. The last audit box will also indicate Today whenever the Process New button is clicked.

Spring 2015 grading

Grading for the spring 2015 semester is open. Grades are due no later than noon on Tuesday, May 5. Instructors are required to provide the date a student last attended class when the student is receiving a grade of E or X. If attendance information is not available the instructor can use the last date of recorded academic activity. It is important that the date provided be as accurate as possible since it will be used to determine student awards and refunds. Instructors will be prompted to enter a valid date that is between the start and end date of the semester before final grades can be submitted. In cases where the student does not come to even one class session or does not complete any work the first day of the semester—January 12—should be used.

• Tuesday, May 5—Spring grades due by noon
