Spring commencement RSVP
There are just a few days left for students to RSVP for the May 2 commencement ceremony. Graduates planning to attend the ceremony need to reserve their tickets no later than Wednesday, April 22. The RSVP form can be found in GoWMU. Reserved tickets will be available for pick up in Textbook Alley. Additional information can be found on the Commencement website.
Banner tip of the week
Did you know there is a place in Banner where you can view a student's entire academic standing history by term? Here is how you can access the information:
- Go to SHAINST
- Enter the student's WIN number in the ID field
- Tab to the term block
- Press Shift+F2
In addition to seeing a record of academic standing this form will also display the student's program by term and indicate if they qualified for the dean's list or if they had an academic standing override.
Academic schedule building
The spring 2016 schedule will be available for editing in Banner beginning on May 4. Below is a summary of the schedule building dates:
- May 4—Working reports are available and access is granted for edits in Banner
- June 5—Round one deadline to have all edits completed in Banner and all special requests forwarded to the Registrar's Office
- July 13—Round two working reports available
- July 17—Deadline to return signed working reports to the Registrar's Office
Upcoming dates
- April 27 through May 1—Final Exam week
- Saturday, May 2—Commencement
- Tuesday, May 5—Spring grades due by noon
