Grading

Grading for the spring 2015 semester has been closed. Students who were not issued a grade by the instructor have been given an incomplete. Instructors can remove the I grade using the Remove Incomplete Grade link on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.

Grading for the summer I session is now open. Summer I grades are due at noon on Tuesday, July 7.

Degree Works update for pre-2010 students

The Registrar's Office recently updated Degree Works to better serve our students. Degree Works contains program requirements starting with the 2010 catalog year, preventing pre-2010 students from using some of the features Degree Works has to offer. These students were not able to view even basic information, including class history, major, credit hours, holds and more. To enable the pre-2010 students to see this information as well as use other Degree Works features—What-If, GPA Calculator and Plans—we modified the behind the scenes programming. As a result of this modification pre-2010 students will now have worksheets available in Degree Works. Although specific degree requirements are not listed these students will be able to view their summary information and class history, as well as use the Degree Works features mentioned above. Advisors will also be able to use the notes feature.

Free campus shredding event

To encourage proper disposal of the University's protected information the campus GLBA Committee is hosting a free document shredding event on Tuesday, June 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Lot 41 near Sangren Hall and from 1 to 3 p.m. in Lot P2 on the Parkview Campus. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to drop off professional or personal documents to ensure they are properly destroyed and recycled. This is a great time to review your departmental records and purge any unwanted documents.

Summer commencement

The June commencement ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 in Miller Auditorium. There are just a few days left for graduates to reserve their tickets. The RSVP form can be found under the Academic Services menu in GoWMU and will be available until June 17.
