Grading

Grading for the summer I session has been closed. Students who are not issued a grade by the instructor have been given an incomplete. Instructors can remove the I grade using the Remove Incomplete Grade link on the Faculty menu in GoWMU

Grading for the summer II session is now open. Summer II grades are due by noon on Tuesday, August 25.

Reclaim the W

A total of 27 students have been readmitted to attend WMU under the Reclaim the W program this fall. The students will be attending one of four Reclaim the W Welcome sessions prior to the start of the fall semester. The welcome session will cover topics such as time management, motivation, study skills etc. to help get their academic year off to a positive start.

In the event you are working with a Reclaim the W student, you may notice they have an "AC" academic hold on their account. The purpose of the hold is to ensure that the student works with an advisor to make any schedule adjustments. The hold will remain on their record until removed by their advisor.

Reverse transfer

The Registrar's Office recently sent an email to 78 students eligible for review under reverse transfer. Student eligibility is based on the number of credits completed at WMU and the number of credits transferred from the partnering community college. Over 2,000 former community college students have been contacted by WMU since our first reverse transfer agreement in 2012.

Additional information on reverse transfer and a list of our current partners can be found on the Registrar's Office website.
