Census

The official census count will be taken at the end of the day tomorrow. It is important that all students attending fall courses are registered in Banner so they can be accurately reflected in our census counts.

In addition, to prepare for census please ensure that all sections have the correct instructor of record listed and all sections on hold have been cancelled or made active.

Waitlisting

The waitlisting notification will be turned off this morning and any student still waitlisted for a fall section will be dropped by 8:00 a.m. tomorrow. Departments may add students into waitlisted sections tomorrow as they see appropriate.

New electronic access request system

Requesting access to Banner, Cognos, Degree Works and ImageNow has recently moved from a paper process to an electronic one. The online access request form can be found in GoWMU under the “Data Access Center” menu. Similar to the semi-annual re-authorization process, when an employee submits an access request, their supervisor will receive an email notification. The supervisor can then approve or deny the request in GoWMU using the supervisor link under the “Data Access Center” menu.

Student employees will need to access the online request form by logging into GoWMU and selecting "View/Update Personal Information" and then selecting "Student Information System Security Forms".

Both paper and electronic security access requests will be honored through the end of September. After Sept 30, 2016, paper requests will no longer be accepted.

Graduation application fee

The graduation application fee increase from $45 to $55 went into effect on September 6. The undergraduate and graduate applications for graduation have been updated accordingly.

Applications submitted to the Registrar's Office reflecting the $45 fee will be honored through the end of the month.  As a reminder, the deadline for students to apply for December graduation has been extended to September 16.

Fun facts
