spring 2017 graduation

December 1 is the deadline for students to apply for graduation if they are planning to complete their degree at the end of the spring 2017 semester. An email reminder was recently sent to undergraduate students who completed 88 credit hours and to graduate students who completed 20 hours and have not yet applied for graduation.

Students can apply for graduation online through GoWMU.  Undergraduate students must be approved by their advisor in Banner before they will be able to access the online application.

December commencement

Faculty participating in the December 17 commencement ceremony may order regalia online through the Willsie Cap and Gown Company at:

Orders should be submitted by Friday to ensure availability of hood colors from the institution the faculty earned their degree. Regalia will be available for pickup in the Bernhard Center's Textbook Alley from Monday, December 12, through Friday, December 16, or from the York Arena Theatre and on Saturday, December 17, beginning at 8 a.m.

summer 2017 schedule building

Working reports for the final round of Summer I and Summer II 2017 schedule building have been made available in Cognos. Changes should be made on the working report and signed by the department chair. The working report can be emailed to @email no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, November 18.

Banner tip

When adding attributes to a student’s record in SGASADD, always choose “Copy Student Attribute” instead of “End Student Attribute.”  If you choose “End Student Attribute,” attributes will be deleted from the student’s record.  Any change in attributes are effective starting with the term displayed in the upper right-hand corner of SGASADD.
