Fall 2017 registration

The fall 2017 schedule opened for viewing this morning. Students can search for available courses through GoWMU or on the public course offerings website. Courses can be searched using any combination of campus, instructional method, subject, instructor, or course number.

Fall registration begins Monday, March 13. The priority schedule can be found on the Registrar's Office website.

Textbook requisitions

All summer I, summer II, and fall textbook orders need to be submitted as soon as possible to keep WMU compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008. According to the Act, institutions of higher education must provide required and recommended textbook information with their published course offerings.

As of last Thursday, only 66% of summer I and 68% of summer II textbook requisitions have been completed. 3,008 Fall 2017 sections still need a textbook assigned, putting us only at 30% compliance.

Security reauthorization

As a reminder, the semi-annual student information system re-authorization is currently underway and will remain open through February 24.  There are over 1600 different users that are being processed this month, with 1/3 of them completing the process within the first 3 days of the re-authorization period.   For any questions pertaining to your reauthorization please contact the Registrar’s Office at (269) 387-4300.
