Fall 2017 registration

Fall registration opens this morning for graduate students. As a reminder, registration priority is based on credit hours earned. The schedule for this week is as follows:

Priority registration goes through Tuesday, March 28 when freshmen with zero credit hours can register starting at noon.

Midterm grades

Today is the deadline for instructors to submit midterm grades for the Spring 2017 semester. The midterm grade worksheet will be available until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Midterm grades can be entered in GoWMU using the Midterm Grade Worksheet. Grades can also be reported through D2L. Additional information on midterm grading, as well as instructions on how to submit midterm grades via Elearning, can be found on the Registrar’s Office website.

Final exams

Final exam week is right around the corner. If faculty require study sessions or have specific room needs for the final exam week, please let us know by emailing @email.

Report student academic concerns

Next Monday, March 20 is the last day students can withdraw from a spring semester course.  It is important that we make every effort this week to reach out to students who are not attending class or who are not performing well. The Report Student Academic Concern link is provided on the faculty menu in GoWMU for instructors to report an academic concern, excessive absences or students missing multiple assignments.

Fun Facts

Last year 17,464 transcripts were processed through our transcript vendor, Parchment. Of those, 68% were sent electronically.  We have seen a 17% increase in requests for electronic delivery since 2013.
