One Stop

The One Stop Center will be available for students again this year at the start of the fall 2017 semester. As in the past, it will be located on the second floor of the Bernard Center and will provide students with one convenient location to take care of all their semester start up needs.
 
Dates and times are as follows:

• Aug. 30 to 31; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 1; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 4; closed
• Sept.  5  to 7; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Sept.  8; 10 a.m. to noon

Spring 2018 textbook orders

The Spring 2018 textbook deadline is only one month away.  All textbook orders must be submitted by September 15 to keep WMU in full compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act.  Instructions on the textbook requisition process can be found on the Registrar's Office website.

Important dates for faculty and staff

The Important Dates Calendar for Faculty and Staff has been updated on the Registrar’s Office website to reflect dates for the 2017-2018 academic year.   In addition to providing important academic dates, this calendar also includes information specific to faculty and staff such as schedule building dates, course fee deadlines and textbook submission deadlines. 

Fact of the week

According to the Kalamazoo Promise, this fall they will award to their 5,000th student and pass the $100 million mark in scholarships awarded.  Between fall 2006 and summer II 2017, over 1,600 Kalamazoo Promise students have enrolled at WMU.
