Summer II registration changes
Adds
Summer II Census occurred on Friday, July 6. Students will need to submit a completed Permission to Late Add form to the Registrar's Office in order to add a Summer II course. Students adding their first course after today will be assessed a late add fee of $100 per class.
Drops and withdrawals
Students will receive a 50% refund for a complete withdraw through tomorrow. July 23 is the last day for students to receive a 25% refund for a complete withdraw. A 24-hour grace period is provided to students who drop a course that meets for the first time on or after the end of the drop and add period. Students dropping a class within 24 hours of the start date should contact the Registrar's Office to make sure they receive the correct refund.
Grade mode and credit hour changes
At this point in the semester students can no longer change from a letter grade to credit/no credit, or from credit/no credit to a letter grade. Students are also unable to decrease credit hours in a variable credit course. The grade mode and credit hour range can only be changed through the end of the drop and add period.
Textbooks
According to the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA), we are required to publish textbook information with our course offerings. As of last week, there were 814 fall sections without a textbook. Please ensure that this information is submitted as soon as possible. In addition to compliance, timely submission of textbook information enables students to view and purchase course materials during the registration process.
Please note, the deadline for Spring 2019 textbook submission is August 31.
Schedule building
Final review edits for the spring 2019 schedule are due in the Registrar’s Office no later than Thursday, July 26. Banner access is not available to make changes during this round. All changes must be marked on the working report and signed by the department chair.
Fact of the week
370 instructors are teaching on the main campus during the summer II session.
UPCOMING DATES
- July 7—$100 late add fee begins; begin recording withdrawals as "W" on transcripts
- July 10—Last day to receive 50% refund for a complete withdrawal
- July 23—Last day to withdraw from classes; last day to receive 25% refund for a complete withdrawal
- August 17—Semester ends
- August 21—Final grades are due
- August 29—Fall 2018 classes begin at 8 a.m. - please note this is the Wednesday before Labor Day.
