Summer II grading

Grading for the Summer II session has closed. Students who were not issued a grade by the instructor have been given an incomplete. Instructors can remove the "I" grade using the link on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.

New student withdrawal notification process

A new notification process has been implemented this semester to notify the instructor and advisor of record within 24-hours of a student withdrawing.

Receiving timely notification of student withdrawals will help instructors keep class lists accurate and up-to-date. It will also enable them to reach out to students who may have panicked after receiving a poor grade and withdrawn prematurely.

Notifying advisors will make it easier for them to reach out to the student to discuss their academic progress and factors that may have led to their decision to withdraw.

Any student wishing to re-add a withdrawn course can so by submitting a Permission to Late Add form to the Registrar’s Office. The course will be reinstated to the student’s schedule without them incurring a late fee.

Security re-authorization

The semi-annual security re-authorization process is scheduled to begin on October 1 and run through October 13 for employees. Supervisors will have through October 18 to approve or deny employee authorization requests.

Security re-authorization allows us to audit access to critical computer systems used at WMU and to ensure that users are familiar and up-to-date with the latest policies.

Users and their supervisor will receive an email notification that re-authorization has begun. The email will include instructions on how to complete the electronic re-authorization process.

Questions about the re-authorization process should be directed to the Registrar's Office at (269) 387-4300 or email @email.
