Commencement tickets

Monday, April 22 is the last day for graduates to reserve their guest tickets. Tickets not reserved by April 22 will be donated to the additional ticket pool and will no longer be available.

Graduates who reserve their tickets before the deadline may request additional tickets from April 24 through April 26. Additional tickets will be available while quantities last on a first come, first served basis. Guests without tickets may view the ceremony on a large screen in Brown Hall, room 2028.

Student concern form

As we approach the end of the semester, student stress and anxiety tend to increase. Faculty or staff concerned about a student can report this using the Student Concern Form. Information recorded on the form is confidential and goes directly to the Dean of Students Office who will review the concern and will follow up with the student. There is a link to the student concern form on the Faculty menu in GoWMU.

Final examination week

The official exam week is at the end of each fall and spring semesters. Exams for courses are to be given during that week at specific times other than the normal class meeting time. All final exams are held in the normal classroom unless other arrangements have been made with the Registrar’s Office. Use of classrooms for review sessions must be scheduled through the Registrar’s Office.

Final exams will be held Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25.

  • Regularly scheduled class meeting times are not held during the exam week.
  • For courses having both lectures and labs or discussions, the time of the exam will be determined from the time of the first lecture period of the week.
  • For courses having labs, only the exam will be determined from the time of the first lab period.
  • Exam times for classes that begin on the half-hour will be the same as for classes which begin on the previous hour. For instance, a class beginning with a start time of 9:30 a.m. will be scheduled with those classes which begin at 9 a.m.
  • Hybrid classes should use their first meeting time and day to determine the exam time.
  • Proctored online class final exams should be scheduled through the Registrar's Office.

If a student is assigned four exams during the same day, University policy will allow the student to request one exam to be given at the make-up time. Students should receive early notification from their instructors as to the times and places of their exams.

Please contact the Academic Room Scheduling team with questions.
