Change in graduation application deadlines

There are now just two deadlines for graduation applications: October 1 for April graduation and February 1 for June, August, and December graduations. The first deadline to reflect this change will be October 1, 2019 for Spring 2020 graduation. 

Applications must be submitted by the deadlines stated above. Earlier submission up to one year before students' planned graduation date is strongly encouraged. Students may change their graduation date at any point after the audit without paying an additional application fee.

Change in billing policy beginning SUM II 2019

 Western Michigan University assesses tuition based on the student level. Beginning SUM II, a graduate student taking undergraduate classes will be charged the graduate tuition rate for all undergraduate courses enrolled for the semester.
