WSHAAPRV in Banner is fixed

The form in Banner advisors use to approve undergraduate students to apply for graduation, WSHAAPRV, was not working correctly for students with multiple majors since the Banner 9 upgrade. The issue has been resolved. You will now see two new buttons on WSHAAPRV: “prevrec” (previous record) and “nextrec” (next record). These buttons allow users to move from one major to the next.

Fall 2020 course fee deadline

The deadline to submit course fee request forms for new fees, renewal of fees or changes to current fees for the fall 2020 semester is Sept. 30. Course fees are generally in effect for three years following the approved effective date. The process to submit, review and approve or deny course fee requests is managed via Banner Workflow. The course fee policy and step-by-step instructions can be found on the Office of the Provost's webpage.

Security re-authorization

The semi-annual security re-authorization process is scheduled to begin on Sept. 30 and run through Oct. 11 for employees. Supervisors will have through Oct. 18 to approve or deny employee authorization requests. Security re-authorization allows us to audit access to critical computer systems used at WMU and to ensure that users are familiar and up-to-date with the latest policies. Users and their supervisor will receive an email notification that re-authorization has begun. The email will include instructions on how to complete the electronic re-authorization process. Questions about the re-authorization process should be directed to the Registrar's Office at (269) 387-4300 or registrar-info@wmich.edu.
