Spring midterm grade reporting

Midterm grades were reported in nearly 45% of all gradable sections offered this semester. The College of Arts and Sciences reported grades in almost 54% of its sections. Great job, CAS! Here is a breakdown of the grade reporting:

Arts and Sciences: 472 of 875 sections (53.9%)
Aviation: 63 of 124 sections (50.8%)
Education and Human Development: 146 of 319 sections (45.8%)
Engineering and Applied Sciences: 79 of 220 sections (35.9%)
Fine Arts: 140 of 429 sections (32.6%)
Haworth College of Business: 143 of 311 sections (46%)
Health and Human Services: 110 of 303 sections (36.3%)
Merze Tate College: 7 of 7 sections (100%)
Other: 4 of 8 sections (50%)

Total: 1,164 of 2,596 sections (44.8%)

Hardship withdrawal process

As a reminder, March 21 was the last day for students to withdraw from spring classes. Withdrawal from a course will now only be permitted through the hardship withdrawal process via the Office of the Ombudsman.

Spring commencement participation information

A reminder on how to participate in spring commencement was sent to graduates via email earlier today. The deadline to reserve tickets for the in-person ceremonies or submit materials for virtual inclusion is Monday, April 4, at 11:59 p.m. Graduates may purchase regalia from the WMU Bookstore shops. GPA and military honor cords are available to eligible students upon request. Learn more at wmich.edu/commencement.
