SUM I 2022 census data now available

SUM I census reports are available on the Institutional Research website. Please note that the site organization has changed slightly, and the Data on Students Enrolled reports are now located below the interactive dashboards. Additional SUM I reporting is available in Cognos. Contact Jason Jach or Teri Schrimpf with any questions.

Updates from Student Financial Aid

SUM II 2022 financial aid applications are now available for graduate and undergraduate students. Federal Parent PLUS Loan applications are also available. Graduate PLUS Loan applications are available on the SUM II financial aid application. We will begin processing all SUM II applications when returning students are packaged in June.

Last day for students to withdraw from SUM I classes is June 6

GoWMU will be available for students to withdraw until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 6. Students with a registration hold who are unable to use GoWMU may request a withdrawal in person through the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on June 6 or by emailing @email

The Registrar's Office is sending reminders to all registered students via email on May 24 and June 6.

Summer commencement information

Summer commencement ceremonies will take place in Miller Auditorium on Saturday, June 25. Ceremony times are as follows:

9 a.m.

  • College of Fine Arts
  • College of Health and Human Services
  • Haworth College of Business
  • Merze Tate College

12 p.m.

  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • College of Aviation
  • College of Education and Human Development
  • College of Engineering and Applied Sciences

Ceremonies will be livestreamed and publicly available via wmich.edu/commencement.

Fall 2022 final exam schedule now available

Exams begin Monday, Dec. 12, and conclude Thursday, Dec. 15.
