Last day for students to withdraw from SUM II classes is July 25

GoWMU will be available for students to withdraw until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 25. Students with a registration hold who are unable to use GoWMU may request a withdrawal in person through the Registrar's Office until 5 p.m. on July 25 or by emailing the Registrar's Office

Student Financial Aid processing times

The current processing time for paperwork, appeals, PLUS loans and alternative loans is four to six weeks, and our response time for email inquiries is three weeks. 

Updated program code web pages now live

The Registrar's Office recently cleaned up the listing of majors and programs for each college. See links to the updated pages at wmich.edu/registrar/faculty-staff/advising.

April 2023 graduation deadline is Oct. 1; communication cycle with eligible students begins Aug. 1

The Registrar's Office will begin reminding eligible students of the Oct. 1 graduation application deadline via email in the coming weeks. The communication cycle will expand throughout August and September, and incorporate new elements to help students meet the deadline. 

There are two deadlines for graduation applications: Oct. 1 for April graduation and Feb. 1 for June, August and December graduations. For more information regarding application deadlines or the communication process, please contact John Scott.
