Staff available to help with questions during move-in weekend
Earlier this week, we began hosting a temporary Information Center in the lobby of Sangren Hall to help students and families with questions and connect them with resources on campus. Remaining dates and times are as follows:
- Friday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Updates from Student Financial Aid
Bronco Express is now located within the Office of Student Financial Aid in the Faunce Student Services building. Come visit us in our new location! For more information, please visit wmich.edu/finaid/new.
We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our staff is also available to assist by email and by phone at (269) 387-6000 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fall semester begins Aug. 31; last day to drop/add is Sept. 8
Students may drop and add via GoWMU until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8. After Sept. 8, dropping a class is considered a withdrawal and will show on transcripts with a grade of "W". Courses can be withdrawn in GoWMU from Sept. 9 to Oct. 31. The refund schedule is listed in the calendar at the bottom of this email.
Preparing for fall census
Fall 2022 census will take place Thursday, Sept. 8. In preparation, please ensure the correct instructor of record has been entered in Banner for all sections, sections on hold have been canceled or made active and all students attending have been registered so they will be counted (this includes students completing thesis and dissertation hours, independent studies, internships, seminars, etc.).

The youngest student enrolled at WMU this fall, a high school dual enrollee, is 13 years old, and the oldest student enrolled this fall is 76 years old.
